The joint-stock company Eklunds car parts stock has 60 years of experience with car dismantling. You can find us in Skövde, in central county of Västra Göraland. We send car parts daily with our own courier, busgoods, the post office's business package and external couriers. Our goal is to deliver your car part fast and safe.

Car scrap
It's been a long journey for us to arrive at today's quality- and environment certified car scrap and car parts stock. The journey started in 1932, when Adolf Eklund started a scrap business, which was named the Eklund's scrap business. Back in 1948 his son Simon Eklund started the car dismantling business. In 1966 his son Örjan Eklund started working in the family business. Yet another son, Dan Eklund, could not stay away, so he joined eight years later. The haulage started in 1976 and two years later, S. Eklunds car parts stock became a joint-stock company.
Major environmental initiatives were made in the plant in 1994. At this stage, we were 5 employees and the major expansion of warehouses and workshops started. Four years later we computerized the business and at that time we had a stock of 10.000 used car parts.
In 2006, the car part stock had grown to include 70.000 parts on a surface of 3500 sqm. We were now 18 employees, had a workshop area of 1000 sqm and a self-picking area of 2000 sqm. A year later, we extended the engine warehouse with 1000 sqm. At this time, we had 85.000 used car parts. In recent years we have dismantled approximately 1,000 cars per year. We have mostly worked with insurance damage. We have agreements with most insurance companies.

Today, Eklunds car parts stock recieves all kinds of cars for environmental-friendly recycling. We are quality- and environment certified according to SBR´s certifying system.

Business idea
The foundation of our business is selling good second-hand car parts to the right price. Our aim is also to have good relations with government authorities and other stakeholders, comply with laws and regulations and to document and record our activity, so that our company holds the best possible quality of its products and services. We want to participate in the development of new technologies, new methods and new systems to continually make improvements in our environment- and quality work in the area of car dismantling and recycling. The most important thing is that you will be satisfied with us.
